Your Hometown in the Heart of the City

The Tower Grove East Neighborhood is a strong south St. Louis City neighborhood rich in community spirit and architectural splendor. TGE is just to the east of Tower Grove Park and is one of the neighborhoods adjacent to the Grand South Grand area centered at Grand and Arsenal. Tower Grove East has a great home town feel; it is not uncommon to run into neighbors you know at local shops and restaurants. We hope you will take some time to visit the Tower Grove East Neighborhood.

To find out more about our neighborhood, ues the drop-down menu at the top of the page. If you have questions or comments e-mail us or call the President of the Tower Grove East Neighborhood Association (2008-2009) Christian Saller at 314.771.3958. Thanks for stopping by!

Neighborhood Watch Training

Several training sessions will be held for residents of a segment of the Tower Grove East neighborhood (Compton to Nebraska, Shenandoah to Arsenal) located within the 6th Ward. The purpose of the meetings is threefold: to show a presence of concerned residents and police; to train residents about the City’s nuisance property process and police procedures; and to strengthen the TGENA block captain system and recruit block captains for blocks that do not have them. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to meet the new Alderwoman of the 6th Ward, Kacie Starr Triplett.

If you have any questions, please call Norah Ryan, TGENA Safety Committee Chairperson, at 776-8432, or Jerome Murry, Problem Property Coordinator for the 6th Ward (Vashon/Jeff Vanderlou Initiative, Inc.) at 371-1548.
