Neighborhood Watch
Training
Several training sessions will be held for residents of a segment
of the Tower Grove East neighborhood (Compton to Nebraska, Shenandoah
to Arsenal) located within the 6th Ward. The purpose of the meetings
is threefold: to show a presence of concerned residents and police;
to train residents about the City’s nuisance property process
and police procedures; and to strengthen the TGENA block captain
system and recruit block captains for blocks that do not have
them. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to meet
the new Alderwoman of the 6th Ward, Kacie Starr Triplett.
If you have any questions, please call Norah Ryan, TGENA Safety
Committee Chairperson, at 776-8432, or Jerome Murry, Problem Property
Coordinator for the 6th Ward (Vashon/Jeff Vanderlou Initiative,
Inc.) at 371-1548.
